Program Monitor

Responsible for tracking resident accountability by maintaining personal and telephone contact with residents. Duties/additional responsibilities: Placing and receiving telephone calls to/from residents, logging all telephone contact with residents; performing bag, pat and room searches; obtaining urine samples and alco-sensor (breathalyzer) tests for drug and alcohol testing; maintaining program general log and multiple logs of routine activities; writing incident reports for violations of program rules; monitoring and maintaining resident accountability to the rules of the program at all times, performing telephone spot checks, routine reviews of resident sign in/sign out sheets, headcounts, bed checks, building rounds, inspection of resident details; greeting visitors and recording entry/exit of all visitors; maintaining, relaying information to on-call staff of emergencies if needed; answering questions of residents and visitors; maintaining professional interactions with residents and visitors; establishing appropriate staff/resident boundaries. Performing other job-related tasks and projects as requested or assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities: Attending monthly staff meetings, preparing and serving meals to residents, taking work-related or emergency messages for residents, maintaining contact with contracting agencies if needed, monitoring and ensuring safety and security of building.

AA/AS preferred or at least 2 years of relevant experience (Criminal Justice or Human Services Fields) to substitute for education. CORI & NCIC clearance required. Offers a competitive salary.
